About the Role

Join a highly collaborative team of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a leading community and academic medical center. You will play a critical role in delivering world-class care while advancing our mission of Putting Patients First in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of emergency care, including patient assessment, triage, and management.
  • Perform emergency resuscitation and stabilization.
  • Conduct Fast Track evaluation and treatment.
  • Perform emergency procedures, including intubation, chest tube insertion, central venous line placement, and other advanced bedside procedures.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience as a Physician Assistant.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
  • Current NCCPA Certification.
  • Current ACLS and BLS Certifications.
  • New York State Infection Control Certification.
