About the Role
This role involves managing and driving strategy expertise within the Australian market, connecting brands and consumers with a unique Aussie context. You will implement end-to-end customer experience strategies, leverage qualitative and quantitative research, and develop solutions from brand strategy to tactical social, content, tone of voice, and influencer strategies relevant to Australia.
Responsibilities
- Build Bridges: Connect brands and consumers, with a unique Aussie context.
- Implement Strategies: Drive end-to-end customer experience, including local research, auditing, understanding Aussie consumer behaviors, and pulling trends into cohesive, clear strategies.
- Bring Worlds to Life: Use qualitative, cultural mining, and quantitative research to inform strategic approaches tailored for Australia.
- Segment Audiences: Develop distinct, differentiated segments connected to strategic decisions and creative ways-in for the Australian market.
- Develop Solutions: From brand strategy to tactical social, content, tone of voice, and influencer strategies relevant to Australia.
- Uncover Insights: Offer out-of-the-box data perspectives to find opportunities, not just reflections.
- Craft Content: Support teams in creating killer social content, outreach, caption banks, and trend-jacking posts with local flair.
- Leverage Tools: Utilize VaynerMedia tools, research, and platforms for content audits and holistic success measurement.
- Deck Dynamo: Craft presentations that clearly detail ideas and insights, and sell!
- Grasp Technicals: Apply ample agency and content creation experience to understand content creation and the digital consumer journey for end-to-end campaigns.
- Master Fundamentals: Possess a deep understanding of brand and marketing.
- Champion Clarity: Be vocal and inventive, breaking down complex tasks and creating clarity.
Requirements
- Five plus years living in the depths of social trends and across the digital space.
- Familiarity with the Australian landscape.
- Have 5+ years as a strategist in a creative advertising agency, with at least 2 years specifically in the Australian market.
- Are a self-starter who delivers work independently with pace, energy, and drive.
- Love to lead collaborative sessions with clients and internal teams.
- Are a master of managing multiple timelines and competing deadlines without breaking a sweat.
- Are always on the lookout for new ideas and ways to innovate.
