About the Role

Cluey Learning, Australia's leading online tutoring service, is expanding into New Zealand and Australia. We are seeking experienced, professional, and strategically minded senior school tutors specializing in the New South Wales curriculum to guide Year 11 and 12 students through the Higher School Certificate (HSC) preparation.

Responsibilities

• Guide Year 11 and 12 students through the Higher School Certificate (HSC) preparation.
• Navigate NESA Syllabus documents and marking guidelines.
• Tailor lesson structures to individual student needs.
• Handle student distress and anxiety with de-escalation and strategic guidance.
• Deliver online tutoring sessions effectively from a private online workspace.
• Teach material directly aligned to the NESA HSC Syllabus.
• Engage with students in an online, high-stakes environment.

Requirements

• Based in Australia with the right to work.
• Qualified teacher or university graduate/current student with high-level expertise in HSC Mathematics, English, or Sciences.
• Prior experience tutoring or teaching Year 11-12 students through the HSC.
• Available for 10+ hours per week during peak hours (6pm-11pm weekdays, 10am-6pm weekends).
• Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills.
• A dedicated, distraction-free professional workspace.
• Reliable computer, stable internet connection, headset, and microphone.
• Submit a CV/Resume and latest academic transcripts/qualifications in PDF format.
• Possess a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for NSW.
