About the Role
The Vice President will oversee a partnership marketing client in the prediction market category, leveraging expertise in management, organization, planning, idea generation, and cross-functional team implementation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a client-facing professional with an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and forge partnerships with client-side counterparts.
- Manage the day-to-day oversight of clients and their respective sports and entertainment sponsorship portfolios/activations.
- Ensure clients receive superior service, thinking, and communication, maintaining alignment on strategy, insights, planning, programs, tactics, executions, budgets, and schedules.
- Maintain account health and drive growth.
- Contribute to division business growth and goals.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives, including customized programs, events, and promotions to build client brands and drive business growth.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing presentations and materials for clients, agencies, and other counterparts.
- Support sponsorship tactical implementation and coordination at events, including on-site presence, event implementation, hospitality management, ticket distribution, guest relations, and client relationship management.
- Manage the measurement and return on investment process for all programs.
- Create implementation and tracking materials as needed to support programs and initiatives.
- Manage client-vendor relationships and coordinate necessary activation deliverables.
- Assist in managing program and event-related budgets.
Requirements
- 15+ years of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience, including sponsorship marketing, event marketing, and/or sponsor servicing.
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for clients/companies.
- Proven ability in day-to-day relationship management of clients, agencies, and vendors.
- Demonstrated "Big Idea" sell-in experience with at least one successful implementation.
- Proficiency in sponsorship contract negotiation.
- Practical experience with on-site event marketing operations and logistics.
- Experience or interaction with advertising, PR, and/or promotional agencies.
- Strategic and creative thinking abilities, with effective and efficient communication.
- Independent and group problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent time management, written, and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive and helpful attitude.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
