About the Role

Join a brand-new premium café in Barangaroo, Sydney, delivering exceptional breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go offerings. This innovative workplace focuses on sustainability, featuring a community food garden and native bee initiatives. You will be part of a purpose-built cooking school, creating memorable guest experiences and showcasing culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional café-style breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go offerings, ensuring outstanding quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
• Promote a strong focus on nutrition, healthy eating, and seasonal menu innovation using high-quality local produce.
• Champion food safety and allergen management, ensuring all compliance standards are met while maintaining a safe dining experience for customers.
• Maintain the highest food quality standards, ensuring efficient production and consistent execution without compromising food safety requirements.

Requirements

• Chef’s Trade Qualification essential.
• Highly motivated and self-driven professional, capable of thriving independently while leading by example.
• Strong operational expertise across all aspects of café and kitchen management.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Committed to the highest standards of Workplace Health & Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP compliance.

Salary/Compensations

• $75,000 Annual Base (negotiable) + 12% Superannuation
