About the Role

Join NYP’s Komansky Children’s Hospital as a nurse leader in pediatric care. You will lead a Magnet designated nursing team and collaborate with transformational leaders of the entire pediatric team, working closely with the three units’ Patient Care Directors and fellow Clinical Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Magnet designated nursing team.
  • Collaborate with transformational leaders of the entire pediatric team.
  • Work closely with the three units’ Patient Care Directors and fellow Clinical Managers.

Requirements

  • At least two years of pediatric experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership competencies
  • Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Skills

  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN experience

Location

  • New York, New York

Work Type

  • Full time
  • 10-hour Night Flex shift
  • Four shifts per week
  • Includes weekends with flexibility to meet the needs of the unit
  • On-site presence required

Experience Level

  • Previous leadership experience (Preferred)
  • At least two years of pediatric experience (Required)

Education Level

  • Master’s in Nursing or related field (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Required)

Salary/Compensations

  • $145,000-$168,000/Annual
