About the Role
The Programs Worker will coordinate and support the day-to-day delivery of programs and services at Manly Salvos, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively meet community needs. This is a permanent, part-time role offering 20 hours, 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, volunteers and local partners.
- Coordinate and support community programs, activities and events that meet local needs.
- Manage the Community Centre pantry and help strengthen community support networks.
- Oversee Community Centre bookings, administration and invoice processing.
- Promote Manly Salvos programs and services through marketing and community engagement initiatives.
- Maintain and grow the organisation’s digital presence, including website and social media content.
Requirements
- Experience in community engagement, program coordination and relationship building within a not-for-profit, faith-based or community services environment.
- Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required.

Salary/Compensations
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.
- Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Level 3.
