About the Role
An entry-level position focused on learning and contributing to significant construction projects. Development will be provided through internal training and optional academic qualifications to foster multi-disciplinary skills.
Responsibilities
- Learn and utilize business software including Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, and AutoCAD.
- Learn and perform clash detection tests and model reviews using Navisworks, Solibri, and Revizto.
- Learn to interpret schematics and schedules.
- Learn to draft Building Services, ductwork, pipework, and electrical systems.
- Learn to produce 2D sheets.
- Learn the process of 3D model authorship.
- Understand how Fulcro ensures project specification documentation is implemented by project teams.
- Learn to set up and manage Project Information Models.
- Attend internal and external coordination/review meetings.
- Assist Project/Delivery Managers with task completion.
Requirements
- Interest in 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Desire, drive, and willingness to continuously develop and learn.
- Technical problem-solving abilities.
- Initiative in delivering to time/budget.
- Team player.
- Interest in 3D Modelling and Technical Design.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint).
- GCSE Grade A-C (4+) in Math’s and English.
- Eligible to work and live in the UK.
- Proof of eligibility will be required.
- Agreement to process personal data for recruitment purposes under GDPR legislation.
