Responsibilities

  • Main focus on trading UST securities and TIPS
  • Assist in financing/repo USD products/Breakeven Inflation
  • Market marker in TIPS and US Treasuries
  • Participate in all relevant Treasury auctions
  • Assist in primary dealership buildout
  • Increase MUFG’s franchise presence and market share specific to inflation products
  • Generate trade ideas
  • Assist in balance sheet optimization and assess new strategies
  • Provide leadership and act as mentor to analysts
  • Self-starting but collaborative: ability to work with team of highly skilled professionals, collaborating workflow and tasks, and measuring and driving performance
  • Leverage existing relationships and integrate into business

Requirements

  • A BS/BA in Finance, Financial Engineering, Business or related technical degree.
  • Series 7 & 63 required
  • 15+ years of trading and risk management experience in interest rates, US Treasuries and TIPS.
  • General understanding of regulatory landscape across banking and securities
  • Exhibits strong risk management mind set
  • Proven track record of profitability
  • In-depth understanding of mechanics and dynamic knowledge of US interest rates, US Treasuries and inflation securities.
  • Demonstrate ability to execute in high pressure situations.

  • $375k - $450k
  • Discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation
