About the Role

This role is fundamental in ensuring that Lidl remains competitive and continues its successful growth across Europe. You will be supporting our Buyers with administrative tasks, liaising with suppliers, and communicating internally across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the End-to-End Contract Process: Draft, issue, and complete accurately detailed contracts for our product categories within strict business deadlines.
  • Coordinate Product & Supplier Data: Request, check, and maintain vital product master data, certificates, and supplier documentation, ensuring complete accuracy across systems.
  • Resolve Discrepancies: Spot data conflicts (such as price vs. product spec differences) early and work collaboratively with Suppliers, Buyers, and Coordinators to resolve them.
  • System & Data Maintenance: Keep internal purchasing logs and databases fully updated to ensure contract changes and upcoming promotions are communicated seamlessly across teams and regions.
  • Stakeholder & Inbox Management: Act as a key point of contact for external suppliers and internal teams, managing incoming queries through shared inboxes promptly and professionally.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Use data-quality tools, assist with ad-hoc projects, and proactively suggest ways to optimise departmental processes.

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience within an office environment
  • Self-motivated, able to work well in a team and independently within a high-pressured environment
  • Well-organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A high degree of adaptability
  • A confident approach with excellent communication skills
  • The ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pro-active, approaching problems logically and calmly
  • Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn

Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Google Chat, Docs, Sheets) is desirable
