About the Role
HYO is Berlin's new specialist practice for dysphagia, offering outpatient care at a clinical level. You will be involved in building this new practice from the ground up, focusing on patient consultation and management of swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient dysphagia therapy under supervision, gradually becoming independent.
- Conduct clinical swallowing examinations and assessments.
- Gain experience in FEES diagnostics and tracheostomy tube management.
- Advise patients and their relatives.
- Potentially engage in external partner placements (hospitals, non-clinical facilities).
Requirements
- Completed training or studies as a speech-language pathologist (state examination or B.Sc./M.Sc.).
- Interest in specializing in the field of dysphagia.
- Enthusiasm for building a practice from the beginning.
