About the Role
The Senior Associate – Digital Health Data is an advanced individual contributor responsible for leading the design, operationalization, and continuous improvement of digital health data capabilities that support underwriting innovation. This role operates with significant independence and serves as a recognized subject matter expert for clinical and digital health data. Working across Underwriting, AI & Data, Actuarial Insights, Data Governance, IT, and other business partners, the role develops scalable data solutions, improves data quality and usability, and delivers actionable insights that enhance underwriting modernization, operational efficiency, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and operationalization of digital health data capabilities and integration processes that support underwriting modernization and business objectives.
- Partner across Underwriting, AI & Data, Data Science, IT, Data Governance, and Actuarial teams to develop scalable data solutions, improve data quality, and identify new digital health data use cases.
- Perform complex quantitative and qualitative analyses, develop dashboards and reporting solutions, and translate findings into executive-ready insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for digital health and clinical data by providing guidance on data integration, governance, business rules, and quality controls while driving continuous process improvements.
- Influence cross-functional initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance underwriting risk assessment, operational efficiency, and customer experience through innovative use of digital health data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, in analytics, healthcare data, program management, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, with demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting complex healthcare data.
- Experience with healthcare data integration, transformation, validation, normalization, aggregation, and data quality management.
- Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights.
