About the Role

Empower organizations to transform their work through AI, guiding them to unlock opportunities, enhance productivity, and deliver exceptional experiences. This role focuses on driving AI-powered business-process transformations within Small Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C), partnering with account executives and other teams to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partners and resources, leveraging customer insights and industry knowledge to explore business and emerging opportunities.
  • Engage with stakeholders on business planning and rhythm-of-business meetings to review and plan for assigned territory accounts.
  • Manage the end-to-end business of the assigned territory, including forecasting and developing territory plans for intentional selling.
  • Review feedback reports and coach others on customer/partner satisfaction and recovery action plans.
  • Discover new opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth through personal campaigns or internal sources.
  • Collaborate with account teams, partners, or services to track, qualify, and expand new opportunities.
  • Build pipeline in collaboration with other teams and services.
  • Interface with customers and build relationships via social selling.
  • Apply Microsoft's sales process to determine opportunity quality.
  • Engage in customer conversations to introduce how other workloads enable digital transformation aligned with customer industries.
  • Understand customer business needs and priorities to drive conversations on digital transformation across multiple solution areas.
  • Create guiding examples of digital transformation through seminars, workshops, webinars, and direct engagement.
  • Identify customer business needs and technology readiness.
  • Contribute to solution development in collaboration with internal teams, partners, and services.
  • Propose prioritized solutions that align with customer needs and articulate their business value.
  • Proactively build external stakeholder mapping and engage senior business decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to drive consumption and grow business with existing customers.
  • Ensure rapid and robust deployment plans for licensing transactions and project engagements.
  • Identify, articulate, and facilitate the removal of blockers to consumption.
  • Implement strategies to accelerate deal closing and contribute input on closing prioritized opportunities.
  • Coach less experienced team members in deal plan execution.
  • Implement close plans to de-risk and drive predictable deal closure.
  • Collaborate with One Commercial Partner (OCP) to cross-sell, up-sell, and co-sell.
  • Identify and support onboarding new partners by researching and discussing customer scenarios.
  • Provide feedback to OCP on partner gaps.
  • Develop joint proposals and consumption plans with partners.
  • Contribute to developing partner strategies to address gaps in partner capabilities.
  • Apply the orchestration model to proactively drive deal closure by identifying and aligning internal stakeholders and leveraging partner relationships.
  • Collaborate with compete global black belts (GBBs) to analyze competitor products, solutions, and services.
  • Implement strategies to position Microsoft against competitors.
  • Provide analysis of the competitive landscape in the supported solution area.
  • Evaluate opportunities and make recommendations on pursuit or withdrawal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 3+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience.

  • USD $40.96 - $80.96 per hour (U.S. typical base pay range)
  • USD $60.96 - $86.11 per hour (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area)
