About the Role
Flow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain critical integrations between the Flow platform and existing customer engineering stacks, including PLM, ALM, and issue-tracking systems. This role involves designing robust data synchronization, collaborating directly with customer engineering teams, and ensuring the reliability of integrations in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain integrations connecting Flow to PLM, ALM, requirements tools, issue trackers, and version control systems.
- Develop reliable data synchronization processes, including mapping, transformation, and conflict handling.
- Collaborate with customer engineering and IT teams to scope integrations and manage deployments.
- Design and maintain APIs and webhooks for customer and partner use.
- Manage integrations in production, including monitoring, error handling, and cross-system debugging.
- Partner with forward-deployed and product engineers to develop reusable integration patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing production software.
- Experience designing and operating services at scale in a cloud environment.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations against third-party APIs in a B2B or customer-facing setting.
- Strong understanding of API design, including REST and webhooks.
- Ability to debug complex issues spanning multiple systems.
- Ability to work directly with customers to translate technical requirements into integration plans.
- Comfortable working in a high-ownership environment.
