About the Role

This is a development opportunity for a second or third-year university nursing student within a Hospital Clinical setting, focusing on patient-centered clinical practice and ensuring safety through effective systems and processes. The role operates within the day surgery centre and does not require night shifts or weekend availability.

Responsibilities

  • Patient centred clinical practice in accordance with recognised standards.
  • Ensure safety of patients and staff by designing effective and efficient systems and processes of care.

Requirements

  • 2nd or 3rd year nursing student, or TAFE Certificate III in acute care.
  • Experience working within an acute health care clinical setting.
  • Time management skills.
  • High-level computer literacy.
  • Ability to work well under supervision of RN and EENs.
  • Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants the necessary work rights.
