About the Role

Supervise and support the day-to-day operations of the Manly Salvos Community Centre, ensuring the smooth delivery of community meals, centre activities, and volunteer coordination in alignment with The Salvation Army’s mission. This is a permanent, part-time role offering 20 hours, 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the community centre, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-organised environment.
• Coordinate volunteers, including rostering, onboarding, and ongoing administrative support.
• Assist in the delivery of community programs and services, addressing and escalating operational issues as required.
• Manage routine financial administration, including transaction processing, recordkeeping, and budget support.
• Maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation while providing timely administrative support.
• Collaborate with the Mission Leader and team to support service delivery, community events, initiatives, and fundraising activities.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Financial Management or demonstrated experience managing budgets and financial processes
• Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills, able to manage priorities and build positive stakeholder relationships.
• Committed to supporting organisational goals and engaging with the local community to make a meaningful impact.
• A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required
• Working with Children’s Check

Salary/Compensations

• Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.
• Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Level 3.
