About the Role
Twitch is seeking a Localization Program Manager to oversee the operational aspects of its localization program, including vendor coordination, content workflows, quality processes, and launch execution across 29 languages. This role involves working with a team of senior professionals to provide a native experience to global users, with opportunities for increased scope over time.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end localization into 29 languages, including launches that require creative asset localization, terminology building and testing
- Monitor continuous localization operations while identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
- Run and evolve localization quality processes: coordinate testing, build LQA workflows and propose improvements based on data
- Monitor and improve translation quality output by developing and maintaining linguistic assets
- Influence upstream content operations for seamless, context-rich translations
- Build localization metrics reports (turnaround, quality scores, cost per word)
Requirements
- 5+ years of localization project/program management experience
- Experience managing stakeholders and cross-organizational dependencies
- Experience with enterprise localization tools, translation management platforms (Smartling, memoQ, Phrase or similar), and developing and maintaining linguistic assets and workflows
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Native speaker of one additional language
