About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II, Cloud Logistics to join our cloud services team. You will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to help develop and build the world’s most advanced robotic systems for the world’s biggest robotics opportunity!

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation workflows, write unit/integration/system tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded and effectively tuned for performance and quality
  • Push and maintain code in production
  • Be available for production support
  • Measure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of products
  • Be able to ship a feature end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructure
  • Be a mentor for junior engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2+ years of industry experience
  • Solid understanding of cloud security practices
  • Experience building full stack cloud applications (both frontend and backend)
  • Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
  • Good understanding of writing unit and integration tests
  • Strong technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams + sequence diagramming)
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends if needed
