About the Role

You'll be the technical partner in every deal that matters, showing potential clients what Firecrawl can do, architecting solutions, running proofs of concept, and answering technical questions to secure deals. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and revenue, requiring fluency with developers and commercial acumen to drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical side of the sales cycle, including discovery, solution architecture, demos, and proof of concepts.
  • Engage directly with customers to demonstrate how Firecrawl solves their specific problems.
  • Address complex technical questions during sales processes and collaborate with engineering when necessary.
  • Develop POCs and technical proposals to convert interest into closed deals.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects and relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to advance sales opportunities and achieve targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role, preferably with developer or API products.
  • Technical proficiency to gain developer respect, including the ability to read code, use APIs, and build POCs.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical details and translate them into business value for different audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for customer interactions and confidence in owning deal outcomes.
  • A fast-paced approach, prioritizing shipping POCs and iterating over perfecting presentations.
  • Must already be authorized to work in the US or eligible remote-hire regions; visa sponsorship is not currently available.

  • $200,000-$250,000 OTE
