About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to assist clients with intellectual disabilities in a shared home environment. This role focuses on helping clients achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives through engaging activities and community involvement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plans
- Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
- Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
- Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
- Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines
Requirements
- Willing to work active night & sleepover shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles
- Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
- Experienced in disability support (preferred)
- Must have or be willing to obtain NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/Full)
- Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid Certificate
- Must have or be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have or be willing to obtain Working With Children Check (if required for the role)

Salary/Compensations
- From $34.58 per hour (plus applicable penalty rates)
