About the Role
The Division of Geriatrics seeks a full-time Data Analyst for the CHAMPPS project, focusing on data collection, organization, management, and reporting. This role involves collaborating with a multi-site team, extracting and analyzing clinical data from patient records, and preparing reports and visualizations. The Data Analyst will also manage databases, support project planning, and ensure overall project success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct key research activities, including Epic chart data abstraction.
- Extract, validate, and analyze clinical data from patient records.
- Ensure data quality and contribute to research deliverables.
- Prepare reports, charts, tables, and other visualizations.
- Build and maintain quantitative (and potentially, qualitative) databases.
- Support project planning and track timelines and milestones.
- Develop strong professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Perform other operational/administrative tasks to ensure overall project success.
- Maintain utmost discretion and confidentiality when working with sensitive participant data.
Requirements
- Significant experience with chart abstraction.
- Significant experience with quantitative research.
- Significant experience with mixed methods research.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple deadlines and competing tasks.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
