About the Role
In this role, you will function as a Clinical Specialist for the TEG (thromboelastography) product line, driving utilization and expansion within your assigned territory. You will support account management through clinical education and ongoing case support, aiming to grow sales in existing accounts and support new ones with a growth mindset. This role requires frequent local travel within the NYC/Metro area.
Responsibilities
- Territory management for existing TEG customer base.
- Increase product usage at existing accounts and expand customer base through clinical education of new users and generate revenue growth.
- Ensure customers can independently, safely, and efficiently operate TEG equipment, software, and related disposables, and interpret TEG results.
- Train new and existing customers on all product and clinical aspects of the TEG line, providing summary of training sessions and follow-up.
- Provide clinical expertise to help TEG product line reach standard of care levels within accounts.
- Drive and expand existing business by broadening TEG application, achieving assigned sales AOP annually.
- Develop new relationships with clinicians and cultivate existing ones through didactic education, grand rounds presentations, case support, end-user calls, and market development events.
- Visit assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions, and establish relationships with key decision makers.
- Provide dedicated onsite support for new TEG customers, including after-hours support.
- Resolve technical, operational, and clinical customer concerns through investigation and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in societies and conferences.
- Maintain records within CRM tool on area of responsibility and customers.
- Support VAD/ECMO customers, Trauma, CV, High Risk Obstetrics, Liver transplant, Vascular, and all Critical Care clinicians in their use of TEG.
- Assist customers in tailoring their product training materials and needs.
- Understand competition and competitive landscape in existing territory and convert to TEG business in existing accounts.
- Work closely with Account Manager to target key accounts for expansion and forecast revenue increase.
- Provide tradeshow support, both regionally and nationally.
- Drive demand for device and software upgrades as well as add-on devices.
- Work closely with Account Manager and Implementation team during laboratory installation, validation, and verification process.
- Prospect and develop multi-level relationships (including C-level) within defined territory.
- Participate in product development market needs and/or quality investigative needs and launches while providing feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Arts or Science (Required) in Nursing (RN) or related Clinical field of study
- Masters of Arts or Science or Business Administration (Preferred)
- 3+ years Industry or clinically related experience, preferably in complex medical devices and/or critical care environments.
- Experience in an ICU/CICU, emergency room (ER), trauma or other critical care medical environments where you would be communicating with senior level medical professionals and monitoring hemostasis.
- Preference for experience running the TEG® Analyzer, understanding application of results, and manipulating the software.
- Frequent local travel to existing customers within the NYC/Metro area.
- Reside within the designated area and/or have easy access to public transport or be close driving distance to NYC/5 boroughs.

Salary/Compensations
- $85,000.00-$160,000.00/Annual
