About the Role

Talarico for Texas is building a people-powered campaign rooted in grassroots support, integrity, and the belief that politics should work for everyday Texans. This role will support political and coalition engagement efforts across Texas, executing the campaign's regional political strategy by building relationships, coordinating events, and supporting outreach to elected officials, community leaders, and coalition partners.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of the campaign's political and coalition strategy
Help build and maintain relationships with elected officials, community leaders, advocacy organizations, and key stakeholders
Coordinate political meetings, roundtables, coalition briefings, and community events
Prepare briefing materials, political memos, call sheets, and research
Track political outreach, endorsements, and stakeholder engagement
Identify opportunities to expand the campaign's political relationships

Requirements

1–2 years of campaign, government, nonprofit, labor, or community organizing experience preferred
Understanding of the Texas political and community landscape
Excellent interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced campaign environment
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and political tools (e.g., NGP, VAN) preferred
Access to reliable transportation
