About the Role

Gallagher Benefit Services is seeking an individual with a passion for equity investing and experience in equity fund manager research or direct equity investing to join the Equity Manager Research team. This role involves working with a high-conviction, independent research team that identifies, selects, and monitors equity fund managers globally, supporting a diverse range of clients and shaping the future of equity research.

Responsibilities

Contribute to research on a range of equity strategies and managers.
Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative due diligence.
Monitor fund managers and form clear investment views.
Share insights in meetings and contribute to portfolio discussions.
Work on bespoke client projects, including manager selection and portfolio reviews.
Help shape Gallagher’s equity research framework and house views.

Requirements

At least two years’ experience in equity manager research or similar equity investment roles.
Numerate and detail oriented.
Takes initiative and feels confident expressing views.
Enjoys being busy; producing a consistent volume of high-quality work, sometimes to deadlines.
Solid experience of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Well organised and efficient.
Communicates complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Diverse experiences and perspectives are encouraged, even if not meeting every traditional criterion.
