About the Role
The Sales Manager serves as the primary growth driver for the System Integration business across North America, focusing on identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities within the warehouse and distribution sector. This individual contributor role involves managing the full sales cycle for complex, customized, project-based solutions while collaborating with global engineering and software teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic sales efforts for complex system integration opportunities across North America
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, and retail supply chains
- Build and manage relationships with customers, strategic partners, consultants, and key decision-makers
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through solution shaping, negotiation, and contract closure
- Partner with engineering and solution teams to develop competitive, customer-specific proposals
- Grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnership development
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and deliver against revenue and growth targets
- Travel approximately 50% across North America to visit customers, partners, and attend industry events
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience in intra-logistic automation projects
- Proven success in business development and account management within system integration, material handling, or software solutions
- Experience selling complex, customized, project-based solutions with long sales cycles
- Strong consultative and solution-selling skills with a track record of closing major opportunities
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships at multiple levels within client organizations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship
