About the Role

The Associate Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software solutions that support Broadridge's products and platforms. This role contributes to the full software development lifecycle by building high-quality, scalable applications while applying software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and software development.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality software applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established development standards.
  • Plan and complete assigned development tasks while meeting project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and problem-solving activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and software engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms, including multithreading and socket programming.
  • Experience designing and developing high-quality software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
