About the Role

This role supports the profitable growth of the P&C division by working closely with operational business teams and contributing to the ongoing development of the Casualty and Financial Lines portfolios. You will help shape portfolio strategy in line with local, Regional, and COG segmentation priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality and timely actuarial advice to the P&C Commercial Fire and Strata management teams and the Senior P&C Actuaries and Chief Actuary.
  • Lead and perform portfolio reviews, presenting to a wide range of internal stakeholders including senior management and front-line business to help formulate business strategy.
  • Lead and perform pricing projects and rating algorithm development for key portfolios.
  • Lead and perform pricing and performance reviews for key scheme and portfolio opportunities.
  • Lead and perform portfolio monitoring projects, including enhancement of the monitoring framework sophistication.
  • Promote innovation through constantly improving current processes with an automation focus.
