About the Role
The Integrative Medicine Assistant II is an unlicensed health professional who assists patients and Acupuncturist/Chiropractor/Physical Therapist throughout routine visits. This role collaborates with healthcare members to provide quality patient care under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assists in weekly/monthly/annual reporting data validation.
- Creates presentation materials as directed by Supervisor/Director.
- Opens Acupuncture/Chiropractic/Physical Therapy provider schedule.
- Maintains and tracks inventory, orders medical/office supplies and equipment.
- Assists in the training and development of new staff.
- Serves as the first point of contact to troubleshoot and provide guidance to assistants.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Type at least 35 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Current documentation of Basic Life Support is required.
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English.
- This is an FLSA non-exempt position.
- This is an OSHA high-risk position.
