About the Role

Support Capital Markets Public Finance Bankers by providing and overseeing high-level quantitative analyses. Develop relationships with municipal and finance personnel to assist them with obtaining financing for securities-style debt. Strive to continuously improve processes with integrity, caring, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex information requests and financing situations.
• Structure and price customer debt offerings in coordination with the Capital Markets Municipal Underwriter.
• Conceptualize and advise customers on financing alternatives and funding methods.
• Supervise Capital Markets Quantitative Analyst(s), ensuring quality and timeliness of work.
• Solicit inclusion in underwriting groups or financial advisory contracts.
• Prepare or oversee the preparation of responses to Requests for Proposals from municipalities.
• Refer opportunities to Bankers from Frost Bank's Public Finance Department for direct financing and other bank services.
• Act with Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Management, or Finance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, rulings, and regulations pertaining to municipal finance.
• 5+ years of experience in municipal finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications, DBC and IPREO software.
