About the Role

As a Senior Experience Designer in PNC’s Private Bank Digital organization, you will create impactful digital solutions that shape product strategy and user experience. You will collaborate with designers, agile teams, and product leaders to ensure every interaction is engaging, consistent, and accessible. This role is passionate about building experiences that deepen relationships between PNC Private Bank clients and advisors, executing UX efforts that help individuals and families better understand their investment goals and decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Apply UX and UI skills to an established product by owning the end-to-end experience
  • Understand problems and goals, map user flows, and prototype interactions
  • Leverage and improve a design system/component library that aims to deliver consistent UX across a range of user touchpoints
  • Leverage insights from user interviews and other research analysis to understand user needs
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions
  • Facilitate brainstorming and design sessions
  • Evolve prototypes from low, to mid, to high-fidelity
  • Work alongside UX research, UX content and accessibility experts
  • Communicate design strategy to teammates and partners
  • Work closely with front-end developers and product managers to implement UI solutions and ensure the technology fully executes the vision and requirements
  • Transforms tasks into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs through the entire experience lifecycle, from the first-time user to the expert.
  • Discover customer and business needs through contextual inquiries, and generative and quantitative research, and identify solutions to meet those needs.
  • Influence the design direction and strategy.
  • Executes visual, information, interaction, and service design elements of the initiative that meets business and customer needs and delights customers.
  • Communicate the initiative and product to others (Business Partners) through user journeys, storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, and other materials.
  • Gauge the usability of new and existing products, and make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Conduct research studies and present findings that will inform improvements in the customer experience.
  • May help establish research methods and strategies.

  • Base Salary: $75,000.00 – $137,500.00
