About the Role
Ideate, coordinate, and execute marketing, events, and community engagement initiatives to drive traffic, increase brand awareness, enhance retailer engagement, and promote Prudential Center as a premier retail destination. Foster strong office client relationships through tailored programs and activations while supporting strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotions and events to increase traffic and engagement at Prudential Center.
- Oversee the signage program, coordinating regular updates.
- Serve as a webmaster for Prudential Center websites, including regular updates and content creation.
- Assist in planning and execution of social media campaigns, including content creation, partnerships, data tracking, and reporting.
- Promote and publicize new stores and restaurants at Prudential Center.
- Ideate and approve advertising campaign designs and create marketing materials.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with retailers, coordinating programs and promotions.
- Participate in the ideation, planning, and execution of annual office client appreciation events and promotions.
- Coordinate and execute events at Prudential Center consistent with engagement goals.
- Communicate consistently with visitors, retailers, and office clients regarding marketing programs.
- Assist in creating and maintaining positive relations with office and retail tenants through proactive communication and meetings.
- Assist with prospecting potential advertisers, brand activations, and event sponsors, including negotiations and contracting.
- Liaise with office clients to support marketing goals around amenities and activations.
- Liaise with non-profit partners, radio stations, and vendors on regional events.
- Assist in identifying and targeting appropriate community partners for activations.
- Work with the Marketing & Property Management team on budget development and report on quarterly forecasts.
- Provide support for regional marketing initiatives.
- Monitor monthly retail sales and address under-performing retailers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in marketing, events and/or communications is required.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to create timelines, exceed deadlines, and juggle many projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Creativity and ability to initiate ideas and develop programs.
- Flexibility with work schedule as work on nights and weekends is required.
- Experience in providing direction to external designers, printers, and other vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Skills
- Social media management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic web design, graphic design, and desktop publishing programs preferred (Word Press, Adobe Creative Suite).
