About the Role
The Houseperson plays an important role in the Clubhouse, supporting the team in cleaning public and back-of-house areas, and assisting with event setups.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the lobby, hallways, restrooms, and other member areas.
- Clean and maintain the appearance of surrounding areas, including the sidewalk, entrance, and alley.
- Clean and set up rooms for all functions according to function BEO sheets.
- Perform deep cleaning of assigned areas, including vacuuming, washing and mopping floors, elevators, and other areas.
- Clean and maintain the back-of-house area, including employee lockers and restrooms.
- Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools, and report any needs to the supervisor.
- Maintain safety and report any hazards.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Fluent in conversational English.
- Greet each member/guest in a professional manner.
- Quickly respond to member or staff requests in a timely and friendly manner.
- Professional demeanor and appearance are a must.
- Work in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
- Display good organization and time management.
- Ability to work all assigned shifts and report to work on time in proper uniform.
- Be able to stand for long periods.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, crawl, push, pull, and twist the majority of the day on an uneven surface.
- Be able to work in varying temperatures and outdoor work areas.
- Good close vision, peripheral vision, distance vision, and depth perception required.
- Cognitive hearing and response required.
- Must be fully vaccinated plus two weeks to enter the property.
