About the Role

Pharmacy1st Health is transforming independent pharmacies into integrated care delivery hubs, combining primary care, pharmacy services, and chronic disease management. This PRN Pharmacist role offers an opportunity to practice at the top of your license, shape care delivery, and play a leadership role in a growing, mission-driven organization serving rural communities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory and workflow.
  • Provide exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
  • Implement quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Support business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state's respective Board of Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.
