Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, and report observations to site leadership when needed.
Document incidents, assist with access control and customer interactions, and support local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during security-related situations.

Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
