About the Role
The Performance Manager is responsible for client retention and utilization, driving revenue growth by maximizing product functionality and expanding services within their assigned client base. This role requires significant influence, strategic planning, and decision-making to ensure clients achieve measurable results from vAuto systems.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for external client retention by applying extensive knowledge in vAuto Provision, Conquest, Stockwave, and KBB Instant Cash Offer.
- Manage the progress and results of each assigned account within their portfolio.
- Responsible for client utilization and leveraging software to align with client objectives across multiple applications.
- Build and develop strong working relationships with customers from Dealer/owner/Decision Maker and management.
- Engage in needs assessment reviews to understand client opportunities and develop strategic plans of action.
- Identify key barriers and core problems preventing clients from meeting business objectives.
- Apply problem-solving skills and strategic insight to deal creatively with situations and accomplish client goals.
- Maintain relationships with clients through regular onsite visits and/or virtual screen share engagements.
- Oversee the account launch process, ensuring effective utilization of resources for customer success.
- Work with 'at risk' clients to develop action plans for turnaround and retention.
- Generate additional business/revenue by harvesting existing accounts for additional stores and product upsells.
- Encourage clients to attend product workshops to enhance knowledge of system capability.
- Develop self by participating in product development/enhancement review sessions.
- Engage and participate in the exchange of 'best practices' across the retail sales & performance management team and other business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
- Ability to operate with considerable latitude and minimal guidance to resolve complex situations.
- Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management Systems and other automotive management systems.
- Technically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Salary/Compensations
- $109,800.00 - $164,800.00 base salary
- $71,000.00 annual incentive/commission target
