About the Role

This role manages professional teams and leverages key relationships to achieve results, integrating subject matter and industry expertise within banking and investments. It contributes to setting operational standards and requires a deep understanding of how different areas integrate within the function and contribute to overall objectives. The role also demands commercial awareness, strong communication, and diplomacy skills to influence stakeholders and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage day-to-day servicing and processing activities to ensure high service levels and compliance with policies.
  • Interface daily with Banking teams to address escalated issues and exceed client service requirements.
  • Coach and provide ongoing feedback to staff, identify training needs, and develop training plans.
  • Regularly review processes for maximum efficiency and superior service quality.
  • Contribute to and drive tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Establish effective working relationships with operational and technology partners to resolve issues.
  • Regularly review internal control and regulatory requirements and self-test results.
  • Work closely with Global and Regional Market Managers to ensure business initiatives are supported by Service.
  • Assess risk appropriately, considering the firm's reputation, clients, and assets, by driving compliance and ethical conduct.
  • Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
  • Supervise the activity of others and create accountability for those who fail to maintain standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for banking and investment servicing.
  • Identify training needs and assist the Wealth Academy in creating job aids.
  • Coordinate "SWAT" resources for domestic and international Advisors new to Citi needing support in transferring client books.
  • Partner with the National Client Service Manager to create and communicate a CSA career path, including a senior RCSA role.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Robust experience in business management and risk and control in a wealth management firm
  • Experience leading high performing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of client onboarding requirements, including KYC and AML
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Required US FINRA: SIE, Series 7, Series 63 (or Series 66), and Series 24 (Series 9/10 accepted)
