About the Role
Join a product strategy team responsible for product monetization and pricing strategy for all of Visa's value-added products and services (VAS). This customer-centric team aims to provide Visa a competitive edge and leverage pricing for strategic growth. The Senior Manager will play a key role in accelerating growth and developing global pricing strategies for a $5B+ revenue portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product and business leaders in the VAS organization to develop and refine Go-to-Market and commercialization strategy.
- Build a strong understanding of our products’ value proposition relative to competition and develop pricing for new and existing products using a value-based approach.
- Build business cases for new monetization strategies and lead cross-functional efforts to drive the initiatives to completion.
- Independently create executive-ready presentations and influence senior executives across multiple teams to gain alignment on recommendations.
- Partner with deal and sales operations team to execute on commercialization related updates.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- Prior management consulting, investment banking, pricing strategy, or corporate strategy experience at top-tier companies or firms is a huge plus.
- Payments or fintech experience and previous GTM/pricing strategy work preferred but not required.
- Ability to lead problem solving for key strategic issues for clients and stakeholders is a must, including diagnosing a problem/issue, developing hypotheses, sourcing and analyzing data, communicating findings, and partnering with cross-functional teams on implementation.
- Pragmatic, self-starter mindset with intense focus on execution against client needs, articulation of value proposition and concrete market facing focus.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and facilitating collaboration across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Strategy organizations.
- Finance and data acumen—ability to utilize sophisticated financial analyses to evaluate business opportunities and make strategic choices.
