About the Role

As Lead Product Manager for Identity & Auth, you will own the strategy and roadmap for how Realtor.com® recognizes, authenticates, and resolves the identity of every consumer across web, iOS, and Android. This foundational layer turns anonymous visitors into known, addressable users and enables downstream personalization experiences. You will own the systems and experiences that reliably identify consumers across platforms, spanning modern authentication, a unified identity graph, and the end-to-end registration, sign-in, and sign-out experience. This role sits at the intersection of consumer experience, platform engineering, and data infrastructure, partnering with various teams to deliver secure, low-friction, and consistent authentication.

Responsibilities

  • Own identity & auth end-to-end, leading strategy and roadmap for authentication, identity resolution, and registration/login/logout across platforms.
  • Drive the Auth0 migration and platform stabilization, and retire legacy auth infrastructure.
  • Define and execute content-gating strategy and account value proposition to convert anonymous visitors into known users.
  • Design low-friction sign-in and cross-session recognition to increase the recognized/registered user rate.
  • Mature identity resolution via Segment Unify for consistent consumer recognition across devices and sessions.
  • Supply known-user signals to all other squads.
  • Unify the authentication experience across web and native apps, deprecating fragmented flows.
  • Own reliability and quality for a critical-path system, driving down change-failure rate, improving observability, and managing tech-debt reduction.
  • Articulate the Identity & Auth roadmap and its measurable impact to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of product management experience.
  • At least 3 years owning identity, authentication, platform, or consumer-facing infrastructure products.
  • Direct experience with modern authentication and identity systems (e.g., Auth0, Okta, Stytch), including migrations and identity resolution trade-offs.
  • Understanding of identity and data architecture patterns: identity graphs, customer data platforms, event streaming, session and cross-device recognition, and their security/privacy implications.
  • Proven ability to deliver low-friction, high-trust consumer experiences, registration, sign-in, and account flows across web and native mobile platforms.
  • Strong data literacy; comfortable with SQL, KPI frameworks, and partnering with Data Science and Engineering on identity resolution logic and success criteria.
  • A platform mindset, treating reliability, change-failure rate, and observability as first-class product outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leadership decisions and translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
