About the Role

This intermediate position focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and supporting AI-powered software solutions within the Banking and fintech domains, including Pricing & Billing. The role requires a blend of software engineering, AI/LLM expertise, data engineering, and customer engagement skills to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions for global financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support AI-powered software solutions.
• Understand and develop applications adhering to the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in rapid experimentation, testing, and continuous iteration post-launch.
• Build and maintain AI-powered workflows, conversational experiences, intelligent search capabilities, and automation solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines that support AI applications.
• Utilize Python, Java, and modern development frameworks to deliver AI and software solutions.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Write unit test cases to validate developed code.
• Review code and perform debugging.
• Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
• Analyze and understand existing code to customize changes.
• Participate in customer workshops, technical discussions, solution demonstrations, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Provide high-end customer solutions for client-raised tickets.
• Analyze complex business and technical problems and implement innovative solutions.
• Upgrade to new technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and customer teams.
• Work with SMEs on specific areas of Software development.
• Multitask and manage deliverables with senior guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate experience in building, deploying, and maintaining complex conversational solutions, search solutions, and AI-based automation.
• Fluency with production AI SaaS APIs from OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, and open-source LLM models.
• Ability to develop, design, and implement code independently with minimal guidance.
• Fluency in AI services’ API offerings.
• Knowledge of LLM fundamentals and evolution.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles, enterprise data architecture, and integration patterns.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise datasets and data-driven applications.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Enterprise software development experience.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical architecture.
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience developing technical documentation, user guides, and solution enablement materials.
• Full-Stack development experience (front-end, back-end, event streams, database).
• Ability to work well with clients.
• Familiarity with various Operating Systems and Databases.
• 3 - 7 years of experience with enterprise software development.
