About the Role
Computek College is seeking an exceptional Mobile Application Developer Instructor to join their Faculty team. This role involves developing, designing, and teaching Mobile Application Development courses, ensuring student engagement and learning. The instructor will also act as a mentor and advisor to students, preparing them for real-world application of their skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and update the course curriculum for Mobile Application Development.
- Teach Mobile Application Development courses, fostering student engagement through classroom discussions.
- Plan and select suitable teaching techniques, utilizing lectures, discussions, and audio-visual presentations.
- Administer and record grades, ensuring timely evaluations.
- Provide assessment reports to the Departmental head.
- Act as an advisor and counsel students about the course.
- Serve as a mentor and coach, guiding students on preparation and course navigation.
- Maintain a positive attitude and proactively resolve student concerns.
- Develop students' skills for practical application of acquired learning.
- Stay current in the discipline through professional development, including back-to-industry experiences, conferences, and trainings.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional meetings, student functions, and other college activities.
- Abide by college policies and demonstrate Computek College’s values.
- Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Software Development Engineering and/or related discipline.
- Proficient knowledge and experience working with JAVA, C++, Android application, IOS Application Development, XML, CS3, and OCT Certification.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience as an Instructor, preferably within higher education or the services sector.
- Experience in managing international students by creating a positive learning climate.
