About the Role
Circle of Life is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Austin team. This role focuses on providing essential care to seniors, children, and individuals with disabilities, enabling them to maintain independence within their own homes and communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide Personal Care Services in accordance with the care plan
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
- Perform health-related tasks as required
- Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy home environment
- Document care provided to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands, shopping, and transportation arrangements
- Identify and report safety hazards to supervisors
- Provide social and emotional support to clients
- Maintain strict confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect
- Complete ongoing training and educational requirements
Requirements
- CFSS Support Worker Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Industry knowledge
