About the Role
Seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Reporting Analyst to join the Marketing Analytics team. This role serves as the reporting and data expert, responsible for analyzing and reporting on marketing performance across all channels. You will produce reports, support analyses, and build data visualizations to inform strategic recommendations, working closely with senior analysts and cross-functional partners to understand reporting needs, source data, and create clear views of consumer, campaign, and channel performance. This position is ideal for someone who excels at transforming data into insights, values accuracy and consistency, and wishes to develop technical skills within a collaborative team supporting a Fortune 100 automotive client.
Responsibilities
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reports measuring paid, owned, and earned media performance across all marketing channels.
- Develop ad hoc analyses during and after campaigns to assess performance, identify trends, and provide timely insights.
- Create and maintain data views in visualization tools like PowerBI and Excel.
- Work within marketing source systems (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Google Marketing Platform, CRM) to extract, validate, and integrate data.
- Navigate complex data environments, sourcing and integrating data from multiple systems to deliver complete, accurate reports.
- Partner with clients and internal teams to scope reporting requirements and develop custom views.
- Ensure timely delivery of reports in consistent formats and help establish reporting standards and documentation.
- Collaborate with partners across VML/WPP to learn data environments and expand data source access.
- Collaborate with senior team members to scope analyses and contribute to measurement and effectiveness work.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
- Working familiarity with marketing source systems (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Google Marketing Platform, Sprinklr).
- Comfort working with messy, fragmented, or incomplete data from multiple sources.
- Experience writing code in SQL, Python, or R.
- Hands-on experience using AI to augment data work.
- Strong commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and methods.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent reporting deliverables and meet deadlines.
