About the Role
Behavioral Health Services North (BHSN), in partnership with the ACCES-VR federal program, is offering paid internship opportunities for eligible individuals interested in gaining valuable workplace experience at partnering businesses throughout the Plattsburgh area. This internship is ideal for individuals looking to develop work-readiness skills, explore career paths, and build confidence in a real-world job setting.
Responsibilities
- Intern at local businesses in fields such as retail, customer service, clerical support, hospitality, maintenance, and more
- Build practical skills in communication, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving
- Receive job coaching and mentorship throughout your internship
- Work in a supportive, inclusive environment tailored to your individual goals and abilities

- Must be an active participant in the ACCES-VR (Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation) program
