About the Role

Unither Pharmaceuticals is holding open interviews for various positions including Packaging Equipment Operators, Manufacturing Equipment Operators, Distribution Associates, and Shipping & Receiving Associates. Multiple shifts are available with shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Learn the operation and function of multiple pieces of equipment.
• Operate power equipment and lifts.
• Work safely with materials and equipment, including chemicals and tools.
• Wear required personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, shoes, and gloves.
• Adhere to cGMP requirements, including wearing appropriate garments and coverings.
• Be available for flexible schedules and overtime, with hours subject to change.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• AAS or BS preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a production or machinery setting.
• Knowledge of computer applications and current software is desirable.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude desired.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities preferred.
• General understanding of material handling machinery is advantageous.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, stoop, and reach overhead.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Requires considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention.
• Requires mental/visual attention plus manual coordination.

Skills

• Basic math skills in multiplication, division, percentage calculation, significant figures, conversion from metric to standard measures (or inverse), and weight to volume measures (or inverse).
• Basic algebra and geometry.
