About the Role

The Head of Product Management owns the product management discipline across Interra Health’s core platform, setting strategic direction, building a high-performing team, and ensuring product investments are grounded in healthcare data expertise and tied to measurable outcomes. This role requires a leader with firsthand knowledge of healthcare data movement, FHIR APIs, and data products, who can make tough decisions and drive systematic market intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Own healthcare-grounded product strategy and develop multi-year roadmaps.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and emerging standards to position Interra’s data capabilities.
  • Act as the final decision-maker when stakeholder opinions conflict.
  • Build systematic customer and market intelligence by creating feedback loops with customers and partners.
  • Set and communicate a unified product vision, translating company strategy into actionable plans.
  • Represent the PM function at the executive level and in major customer forums.
  • Build and develop the PM team, establishing high standards for product rigor and quality.
  • Drive cross-functional execution by partnering with Engineering, Design, Sales, and other teams.
  • Facilitate resolution of cross-domain dependencies and tradeoffs.
  • Enable go-to-market success by partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations.
  • Model and encourage effective use of AI tools across the PM function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MS, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years in product management with at least 4–6 years leading and developing PM teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning multi-product or multi-domain strategy and delivery.
  • Hands-on experience building or owning products that depend on healthcare data moving correctly.
  • Working knowledge of FHIR-based interoperability, clinical data exchange, and data flow between payers and providers.
  • Understanding of how informatics and data products turn raw clinical data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards (HL7, X12, NCPDP) and regulatory context (ONC, CMS interoperability rules).
  • Demonstrated history of making difficult tradeoffs and owning outcomes.
  • Ability to develop multi-year roadmaps tied to market opportunities and anticipate healthcare trends.
  • Experience with prescription management, eligibility, or clinical affordability workflows is preferred.
  • Exposure to PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environments is preferred.
