About the Role

Plan and perform care gap advanced analytics and segment HCPs and KOLs using real-world data sources.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support and communications to the team Product Manager regarding medical analyses.
  • Collaborate with the team Product Manager to communicate generated insights.
  • Prepare and maintain datasets for analytical needs in collaboration with data engineers.
  • Flag data issues to data engineers and advise on required resolutions.
  • Develop integrated care gaps analyses planning, including required data input.
  • Plan, generate, and perform asset-specific care gap analyses using advanced techniques like predictive models, machine learning, probabilistic causal models, and unsupervised algorithms to guide Medical Affairs activities.
  • Create asset-specific HCP segments, maps, and prioritizations across multiple dimensions, including care gaps, to guide channel mix/activation, content creation, and MSL activity in Anchor countries.
  • Highlight missing data inputs needed for analytics, such as claims data for unmet need analysis.
  • Ensure data visualizations and insights are easily accessible and understandable for users.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and overseeing the work of colleagues to achieve outcomes and create business impact.
  • Possesses advanced qualifications in Data Science, with a degree in Data Sciences, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, or similar.
  • Holds relevant certification and/or work experience in data engineering.
  • Has 6+ years of experience (Bachelors), 5+ years (Masters), or 1+ years (PHD) in data sciences, particularly within the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working in a cross-functional business environment.
  • Proven influencing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with Pfizer leaders and key external stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner cross-culturally and cross-regionally.
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills, adaptable for scientific/technical, promotional, patient/consumer, regulatory, and media settings.
  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, including clinical trial design, GCP and data interpretation, drug development, regulatory and promotional rules/guidance, legal and compliance, issue management, and business development opportunity evaluations.
  • Anticipates customer and market needs, understands the industry, current and future trends, and competition.
  • Dedicated to meeting internal and external customer expectations, prioritizing patient safety, and establishing effective relationships.
  • Acts decisively, makes timely and effective decisions using business and financial acumen, and removes productivity barriers.

Salary/Compensations

  • $124,400.00 - $207,400.00 (US excluding Tampa, FL)
  • $111,900.00 - $186,500.00 (Tampa, FL)
