About the Role
Dentistry for Health is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join their friendly private practice team in New York City. This role is ideal for an experienced Dental Assistant looking for a practice where they will be valued and enjoy coming to work each day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
- Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Welcome, seat, and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
- Take and maintain accurate patient records and clinical charting.
- Maintain OSHA and infection control standards through proper sterilization and operatory turnover.
- Take intraoral photographs (experience is a plus).
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
