Responsibilities

• Perform system hardening for Linux (RHEL) and Windows systems according to Cert-BW and BSI guidelines.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Automate security-related tasks and hardening processes using Bash and PowerShell scripts.
• Manage and harden virtual machine (VM) environments.
• Administer and harden Active Directory (AD) environments.
• Configure and manage Cisco firewalls for network security.
• Conduct security reviews and audits, analyze vulnerabilities, and remediate security gaps.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement a holistic security strategy.
• Communicate and collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.

Requirements

• Possess a technical education, degree, or comparable qualification.
• Have sound knowledge in system administration of Linux RHEL or Windows.
• Experience with security policies and standards from CertBW and BSI.
• Advanced scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience in managing VM environments and configuring/managing firewalls.
• Knowledge in Active Directory (AD) administration.
• Enjoy customer interaction.
• Demonstrate independent work habits and willingness to take responsibility.
• Possess very good German language skills (written and spoken).
• Willingness to undergo a security screening.
• Willingness for regular business travel within Germany, including being on-site at client locations during the week.
