Responsibilities
- Perform system hardening for Linux (RHEL) and Windows systems according to Cert-BW and BSI guidelines.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Automate security-related tasks and hardening processes using Bash and PowerShell scripts.
- Manage and harden virtual machine (VM) environments.
- Administer and harden Active Directory (AD) environments.
- Configure and manage Cisco firewalls for network security.
- Conduct security reviews and audits, analyze vulnerabilities, and remediate security gaps.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement a holistic security strategy.
- Communicate and collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements
- Possess a technical education, degree, or comparable qualification.
- Have sound knowledge in system administration of Linux RHEL or Windows.
- Experience with security policies and standards from CertBW and BSI.
- Advanced scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell.
- Experience in managing VM environments and configuring/managing firewalls.
- Knowledge in Active Directory (AD) administration.
- Enjoy customer interaction.
- Demonstrate independent work habits and willingness to take responsibility.
- Possess very good German language skills (written and spoken).
- Willingness to undergo a security screening.
- Willingness for regular business travel within Germany, including being on-site at client locations during the week.
