About the Role

Vertex Hospitality Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support its diverse portfolio of restaurant brands. This role is responsible for creating, implementing, and analyzing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and achieve marketing goals. The coordinator will identify and manage local partnerships, working closely with internal teams and franchise partners to bring brand strategies to life and drive traffic and sales. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, energetic relationship builder with a strategic mindset, a passion for detail, and a proactive, hands-on approach. Tech-savviness, digital awareness, cultural competence, and excellent communication skills are essential. This role is perfect for someone familiar with the local landscape, enjoys community engagement, and has a passion for grassroots marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and events to drive traffic and sales.
  • Plan, schedule, and track local offerings and partnerships.
  • Seek out and evaluate hyper-local advertising opportunities.
  • Represent the brand at local events or meetings when needed.
  • Maintain a log of all partnership contacts, activations, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, target audience preferences, and competitor activities to gather insights that inform marketing strategies.
  • Assist with managing and maintaining the company's social media profiles, engage with followers, and schedule posts to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Support email marketing campaigns by preparing and sending marketing emails, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining email lists.
  • Contribute to maintaining a consistent brand identity by adhering to brand guidelines and assisting with design tasks.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as organizing marketing materials, managing marketing calendars, and maintaining marketing databases.
  • Ensure hugely impactful and successful New Market Openings within the region.
  • Analyze program performance and business data to identify best practices and learnings, and then translate findings into actionable plans.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, field marketing, community outreach, partnerships, or related roles
  • Strong local market knowledge and connections are a major plus
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Familiarity with promo tracking and basic marketing metrics
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to create & execute marketing and business plans tailored to numerous territories.
  • Ability to travel up independently across the Tri-State
