The position requires a blend of strategy and execution, with a focus on building the operational foundation for a fast-growing healthcare company.
Responsibilities

- Direct the build of workflow automations and internal operational tools, determining what to automate, standardize, or redesign.
- Partner with BizApps and Engineering to enhance cross-system workflows and operational reliability.
- Establish visibility into operational bottlenecks, workflow failures, and support trends, and act on the insights gained.
- Lead operational discovery with Product and Operations to identify friction points and workflow gaps that hinder scalability.
- Translate real-world workflows into scalable processes, tooling requirements, and automation opportunities.
- Run 'ground truth' operational research across teams and markets to understand actual work processes.
- Design and lead pilots to validate new operating models before wider implementation.
- Own launch readiness and operationalization for new markets, service lines, and operational initiatives.
- Lead high-priority, cross-functional programs involving Operations, Product, Analytics, and Care Delivery.
- Design scalable playbooks and workflows for emerging initiatives.
- Drive AI-forward operational initiatives and automation across the company.
- Establish documentation, training, and knowledge systems to ensure operational consistency during organizational growth.
- Set the standard for operational work across the company.
- Establish scalable operational processes required across markets and service lines.
- Mentor and guide operators, improving the quality of operational work.
- Continuously remove manual work and enhance execution through improved systems and process design.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Strategy & Operations, BizOps, Product Ops, Platform Ops, or similar cross-functional roles.
- Experience owning operational initiatives end to end.
- Track record of implementing and scaling operational systems and tooling.
- Experience designing workflow automations and operational processes that scale with an organization.
- Proven ability to succeed in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Comfortable being accountable for outcomes.
- Strong systems thinker who redesigns how work gets done.
- Ability to move between strategic problem-solving and hands-on execution.
- Ability to navigate complex workflows and transform them into scalable processes.
- Sharp judgment on when to automate, standardize, redesign, or leave processes as they are.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align senior stakeholders.
- Clear communicator who bridges technical and non-technical audiences and drives decisions.
- High ownership mentality.
- Experience mentoring more junior operators and setting standards for the function.
- Experience managing or building a small team (if the role includes direct reports).
- Curious, pragmatic, and highly adaptable mindset.
- Energized by building in ambiguity and owning challenging operational problems.
